Ingredients required to make egg biryani:

  • mustard oil
  • Onion
  • Potatoes
  • Raw chili
  •  Ginger and Garlic
  • coriander powder
  • chili powder
  • cumin powder
  • turmeric powder
  •  salt
  •  water
  • basmati rice
  •  eggs
  • Biryani spices, everything that is in the spices of biryani (cinnamon, cumin, pepper, Cubeb, nutmeg, mace)
Saffron (saffron is used to give a beautiful color, you can omit it if you want)

How to make egg biryani:

First, you boil the eggs in water. Then, mix the boiled eggs with salt, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and all kinds of spices and leave them for two minutes.

Then heat mustard oil in a pan, when the oil is hot, add the eggs and fry them lightly. Then you add the potatoes and fry them in the same oil. If you like to eat potatoes in biryani, then there is no need to add potatoes.


Then, in a mixing jar, add onion, green chilli, ginger, and garlic and mix them well. Once the batter is formed, heat mustard oil in a vessel. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion, green chilli, ginger, and garlic to it.

Then add salt to taste, mix it well with salt. Then add a little turmeric and mix it well with biryani masala. When the masalas are well mixed, add the boiled and fried eggs in it. Then close the lid and cook for two to three minutes.

Heat water in another pot and add a little salt to it and boil the basmati rice. Now take ghee in a pot, then add a little rice, then add the fried potatoes and egg curry, then add the rice and spread it well all around, then add a spoon of ghee on the rice and add the biryani masala. Meanwhile, squeeze the juice of a lemon and put it in it. Add the lemon juice.


After adding lemon juice, add rose water and a drop or two of Mughlai Atar to it. Then add saffron to give it a beautiful color. Then let it sit for about 15 minutes.
