Eggs are eaten in many ways. Some people eat it after boiling. Some people make vegetable and eat it, some make onion curry, some make potato curry.


Most Bengalis cook this egg in many ways. Today I will share with you one such very interesting Bengali recipe. Chana Dal Recipe with Egg: This is a very tasty recipe.

Let us know how this recipe is made. First of all you need to know what ingredients will be required to make this egg curry.

Required Materials

  • POTATO
  • WATER
  • EGG
  • TOMATO
  • GARLIC AND GINGER
  • ONION
  • GRAM
  • CORIANDER LEAF
  • GREEN CHILI
  • TURMERIC POWDER
  • CORIANDER POWDER
  • CUMIN POWDER
  • CHILI POWDER
  • SALT
  • MUSTARD OIL

Method :

Firoughly soaked. Then boil the gram in a pressure cooker. Boil for three to four whistles.

Then take mustard oil in a pan. When the oil becomes slightly hot, add boiled eggs into it. Then add salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder and fry it well. Then fry them till they become light brown, when they become light brown, take out the eggs in a bowl.


Now add onion in this oil and chop it. When the onion turns light brown, add tomatoes to it. Add one spoon salt in it. Mix it well with salt. Then add chopped potatoes to it and fry the potatoes well.

When the potatoes are roasted, add all types of spices in it like turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, chili powder, all types of spices. Mix the spices well and also add ginger garlic paste.

Fry the ginger garlic paste for a long time until the raw smell of ginger garlic goes away. Mix the spices well and you will see that it is roasted, then add boiled gram in it. Grind it well along with the gram stalk.

Then add fried eggs into it, add a cup of water, cover and boil for some time so that the potatoes get cooked.


After some time you will see that the potatoes are cooked. And the recipe of gram dal and egg is ready.
